The Association currently has more than 400 existing members (including general practitioners and specialists) who are practising in Hong Kong. Members of the Association may be of any nationality and shall be of the following kinds:

Life Members 永久會員

1. Doctor who is eligible to become a Regular Member of the Association shall be eligible to become a Life Member of the Association.
2. Life Membership shall be approved after the payment of Life Membership Subscription Fee (HKD $5000).
3. Life Members may vote and hold position in the Committee Council of the Association.

Regular Members 普通會員

1. Doctor who has passed the Licensing Examination, or already entitled LMCHK (Licentiates of Medical Council of Hong Kong) and registered under section 14 of the Medical Registration Ordinance Cap. 161.
2. Regular Membership shall be approved after the payment of Annual Membership Subscription Fee (HKD $500).
3. Regular Members may vote and hold position in the Committee Council of the Association.

Associate Members 準會員

1. Non-local medical graduates who are preparing for HKMLE (Hong Kong Medical Licensing Examination), or
2. Students who are pursuing a degree of medicine and surgery outside Hong Kong, are eligible to apply for the Associate Membership of The Association of Licentiates of Medical Council of Hong Kong.
3. Associate Member granted exemption from Subscription Fee.
4. Associate Member has priority during application for our HKMLE educational events.

Fraternity Members 友好會員

1. Any person who has been registered under Section 14 of the Medical Registration Ordinance Cap. 161 shall be eligible to become a Fraternity Member of the Association.

Honorary Members 榮譽會員

1. Any person who has rendered outstanding service to the Association or for the furtherance of the medical science, or upon recommendation of the Council, may be elected by the Council to become an Honorary Member of the Association.
