HK Government has proposed an amendment to the current Medical Registration Ordinance. ALMCHK Youth Committee Dr Kelvin Wong was on Metro Broadcast this week expressing concerns over this amendment. He suggested that more rational discussions are needed when formulating healthcare policies. Finger-pointing and responsibility-dodging to any parties would not improve the manpower shortage situation. He urged the Government to impose more practical solutions in retaining experienced frontline doctors and to explore the REFORMATION OF HONG KONG MEDICAL LICENTIATES EXAMINATION .
