9th July 2021 | PROMOTE COVID VACCINATION, PROTECT OUR COMMUNITY

Community engagement plays a crucial role in the COVID vaccination campaign. Our Association (LMCHK Association) has been actively participating in COVID vaccination promotion since early this year, including mobilising members to help in the QES vaccination centre and supporting the private clinic vaccination program. Dr Kenny Ng (Specialist in Medical Oncology), Dr Gerry Yeung (Specialist in Pediatrics) and Dr Kelvin Wong (Specialist in Surgery) were invited to give a talk on vaccination, held in the Tai Wo Hau Community Centre last Friday. We explored the severity and complications about COVID infection, also reinforced the importance of early vaccination to the general public. In addition, we explained the latest guideline concerning vaccination in school children and in patients with chronic illnesses, including cancers. 

Joining hand in hand with our community, we shall overcome COVID together ~
